CO2, trees and environmental impact
The CO2 concentration in the atmosphere, the amount of trees on the earth’s surface,
the temperature of the planet, the pollution and the climate change are elements strictly linked toghether.
We need to reduce CO2 emissions and increase the amount of trees if we want to fight pollution and climate change. Reduce CO2 emissions is equivalent to planting trees, while increasing CO2 is the same of cutting trees.
For this reason HowManyTrees uses trees as a measure of the environmental impact of each of us, for every action we do and every product we buy. Something concrete and known to help everyone in understanding what is the best for the environment.
